WaterStone Bank Announces Multiple Promotions

Wauwatosa, Wis. — 12/7/2018 — Doug Gordon, president and chief executive officer of WaterStone Bank (“WSB”), announced multiple promotions in different departments of the community bank.

According to Gordon, “Amanda, Laura, and Kyle have exhibited exceptional skills in their areas of expertise. Their promotions are well earned.”

Amanda Busche is now assistant vice president, project manager. She joined WSB in 2010. In her role, Amanda continues to oversee the bank’s special assets and has expanded her responsibilities to manage new initiatives for the bank. She is an active member of the community, volunteering her time with Elevate Milwaukee and Habitat Young Professionals. Outside of work Amanda enjoys outdoor activity and building furniture. She resides in Pewaukee.

Laura Pinson is now assistant vice president, lending operations. She joined WSB in 2014. Laura manages in the loan servicing department which has experienced double digit loan growth in the past two years. She volunteers her time with a number of organizations including Susan G. Komen, Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin, Habitat for Humanity of Waukesha County, and church groups. She lives in Brookfield.

Kyle Mertz is now assistant vice president, controller. He joined WSB in 2014. Kyle oversees the accounting department and the implementation of new accounting standards for the bank. When he’s not working, Kyle enjoys watching sports, cooking, and going to comedy shows. He regularly volunteers at the Ronald McDonald House and the Hunger Task Force Farm. Kyle resides in Wauwatosa.
