WaterStone Bank Promotes Two Officers

Wauwatosa, Wis. — 1/25/2018 — WaterStone Bank has promoted two officers of the company. David R. Provancher takes on a new position as senior vice president, chief lending officer and Ryan J. Gordon now serves as vice president, chief credit officer.

David R. Provancher has assumed the role as senior vice president, chief lending officer. The chief lending officer oversees the sales process of WaterStone Bank’s lending areas while continuing to develop and enforce the bank’s loan policies. Provancher joined WaterStone in October of 2010 as chief credit officer where he evolved the bank’s credit department. He earned his MBA in finance from Indiana University’s Kelly School of Business and his B.A. in economics & management and French from Beloit College. Prior to joining WaterStone, Provancher worked as vice president and business credit center manager at M&I Bank. A resident of Whitefish Bay, he is an active member of WBD, Inc., based in Madison, where he serves on the board.

Ryan J. Gordon has been appointed vice president, chief credit officer. Gordon joined the bank in 2008 as an intern working on special projects. He has held a number of positions in the credit department at WaterStone, most recently as credit officer. Gordon has been pivotal in supervising the bank’s credit analysts to ensure quality underwriting of loans. He developed a number of databases and reports to monitor the bank’s loan portfolio. Gordon received his MBA in finance and B.A. in finance and real estate with a minor in math from Marquette University. He resides in Menomonee Falls.
