WaterStone Bank Announces New Branch Locations, Community Presidents in Oak Creek and West Allis

Wauwatosa, Wis. — 7/10/2019 — WaterStone Bank (WSB) announced that it will open two new branch locations, one in Oak Creek at 8780 S Howell Ave and the other in West Allis at 10296 W National Ave. The additions mark the 12th and 13th branch offices for the organization. WaterStone last opened a new branch in October of 2015 in Fox Point. As a full-service bank, WSB will offer the Oak Creek and West Allis communities in-branch solutions, as well as online and digital solutions to satisfy customer banking preferences. Both branches will take over existing buildings and are slated to open in the fall of 2019.

Shanda Caveney has been appointed to community president of the new Oak Creek branch and Gretchen Campbell has been appointed to community president of the new West Allis branch.

“We are thrilled to add very talented, experienced team members as we expand our community banking network in both West Allis and Oak Creek. We have deep bonds with these communities and the additional branches will help us better meet and serve their financial needs,” said Julie Glynn, senior vice president, retail.

Shanda Caveney was hired by WaterStone Bank in 2012 as a part-time teller and served most as assistant branch manager. Prior to joining the bank, Caveney was a certified nursing assistant in the healthcare field where she built strong relationships with her patients and their families. She is a member of the Oak Creek Lions Club and serves as treasurer for the South Milwaukee Heritage Days Parade Foundation. Caveney volunteers at events throughout the community including National Night Out, South Milwaukee Human Concerns haunted house, movie nights, concert series, dog days, and local parades. She lives in Oak Creek.

Gretchen Campbell comes to WaterStone Bank from FIS where she was a senior implementation analyst. Campbell’s banking career began in 1999 as a team lead/trainer with First American National Default Outsourcing. She went on to work for Washington Mutual Bank and then to Wells Fargo, who bought the aforementioned company’s Milwaukee servicing operations, where she was promoted to assistant vice president. Campbell is an active member of the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority and fundraises for their nonprofit, the Pauline Redmond Coggs Foundation. She resides in Brown Deer.
