FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Julie Glynn of WaterStone Bank Recognized as a Notable Woman in Commercial Banking

Wauwatosa, Wis. – 3/3/2020 – WaterStone Bank is pleased to announce that Julie Glynn, senior vice president of retail banking at WaterStone Bank, has been recognized as one of BizTimes Media’s 2020 Notable Women in Commercial Banking.

BizTimes Media’s Notable Women in Commercial Banking recognizes female commercial banking executives in the Milwaukee area that have demonstrated leadership for specific initiatives or programs at their banks and have created significant, positive and measurable results. Glynn was among 17 notable women in commercial banking recognized by BizTimes.

“Julie has had an extraordinary career in banking,” said President/CEO of WaterStone Bank Doug Gordon. “Since joining WaterStone Bank, she has completely revamped our retail banking area to provide the customer with a fulfilling financial experience.”

With more than 30 years of banking experience, Glynn has a tremendous amount of familiarity with establishing and leading high performing sales teams. Since joining WaterStone Bank in 2018, Glynn has played a role in increased retail production and the reduction of turnover in retail banking year over year from 2018-2019. Some of her accomplishments include sales training, new employee roadmaps, and WaterStone Bank’s HERO Checking Account Program for First Responders.

An active member of the community, Glynn is a supporter and board member of the LOTUS Legal Clinic. She also plays a large role in WaterStone Bank’s annual fundraising and participation for Susan G. Komen Wisconsin’s More Than Pink Walk.
