Wauwatosa, Wis. – March 4, 2025 – WaterStone Bank is pleased to announce the promotion of Gurdeep Chahal to Community President of its Germantown branch. Since joining WaterStone Bank in 2022, Gurdeep has advanced through several roles, most recently serving as a Universal Banker III in 2024. With her deep experience in financial operations and customer service, she is now set to lead the Germantown branch, focusing on customer satisfaction, team development, deposit growth, and expanding the bank’s community engagement throughout the Germantown community.

Gurdeep brings a strong entrepreneurial background to her new leadership role. From 2000 to 2012, she owned and operated a successful retail business in Milwaukee, managing financial operations, vendor negotiations, and business growth. In 2021, she was recognized as Wisconsin Lottery Retailer of the Month after overseeing an 88% increase in annual lottery sales.
