Your WaterStone Bank debit card is switching from Mastercard to Visa. A new Visa debit card will be mailed to you soon, replacing your current Mastercard debit card. Please review the important details below to ensure a smooth transition.

What's Changing?

  • New Card Details – Your debit card number, expiration date, and security code will change.
  • Recurring Payments – You’ll need to update your new card details with merchants who automatically bill your account (e.g., utilities, streaming services, subscriptions, insurance, and online retailers).

What's Staying the Same?

  • Your PIN number.
  • Your ScoreCard® Rewards (if applicable) – No changes to your rewards program.
  • ATM Access – You can continue using ATMs as usual.
  • Fraud Protection – Your new Visa card will include the same security features you trust.

When Will Your New Card Arrive?

Your new Visa debit card will be mailed to you in April of 2025. Be on the lookout for it in your mailbox.


How to Activate Your Card

Instructions will be included with your new Visa debit card. Activation options include:
• At an ATM
• Using your new Visa debit card with your pin
• By Phone

Card Activation – Once you activate your new Visa debit card, your current Mastercard debit card will no longer work. If not activated within 60 days, your current Mastercard debit card will be automatically disabled.


If You Haven't Received Your Card

If your new Visa debit card does not arrive by May 5, 2025, please contact our Customer Support Center.

Once you receive your new Visa debit card, you’ll need to update your new card number, expiration date, and security code with merchants who regularly bill your account. This may include wireless, cable and internet providers, streaming services, insurance companies, highway toll accounts, food delivery services, utilities and subscription services, as well as online merchants where you shop regularly.
