Wauwatosa, Wis. – 11/10/2020 – WaterStone Bank announced today that it will temporarily close lobby access in 13 of its branches effective Wednesday, November 11, 2020 until further notice in order to support efforts to help prevent the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19).
WaterStone Bank’s new Milwaukee branch (6801 W. Oklahoma Ave.) will temporarily close access to its lobby starting Monday, November 16 in order to accommodate for its grand opening celebration happening November 9-14.
“We are closing branch lobbies since the health and welfare of our employees and customers is paramount,” said WaterStone Bank’s President/CEO Doug Gordon. “We will remain fully staffed to continue to provide exceptional remote service to all our customers.”
Drive-ups at all 14 WaterStone Bank branches will remain open for customers during normal business hours. ATMs and night deposit boxes are fully accessible 24 hours a day. To limit public exposure, WaterStone Bank encourages its customers to use its digital banking and telephone banking services. WaterStone Bank’s Customer Service Center (414-761-1000) will be supported with additional staff to accommodate for the increased phone calls during this time.
WaterStone Bank staff are continuing to allocate more time each day to clean facilities. This includes frequently sanitizing all highly active touch point areas at its branches such as ATMs, drive-up tube canisters and night depositories. WaterStone Bank has also taken the necessary internal measures to ensure all employees’ health is at the forefront while the bank remains open.
